Daniel Solomon

Having studied architecture at the University of Oregon in the early 1960’s, by 1967 Daniel Solomon had ventured north to set up a painting studio in Toronto.  Dividing his time equally between art and teaching at OCADU, Daniel works in painting, sculpture and set design. He has been Artist in Residence at the Banff Centre, the Emma Lake Artists Workshop and the Temagami Landscape Workshop. His work is represented in many public and corporate collections for example the AGO, Canada Council Art Bank, Edmonton Art Gallery, Robert McLaughlin Gallery, Agnes Etherington Art Gallery, University of Toronto; Sony Music, Coopers and Lybrand, The Royal Bank of Canada, Texas Instruments, Xerox Canada, the Toronto Dominion Bank and a host of others.
