Michael Adamson

Originally from Toronto, Michael Adamson completed his undergraduate levels at Emily Carr College of Art and Design in 1996 and continued painting and photography studies at the University of Kassel, Germany. He has been a guest instructor at the University of Toronto, Visual Arts Department. Adamson’s work has been included in group exhibitions such as Passions of the Eye: McMaster Museum, Hamilton (2015); Exchange: Peel Museum; Goop, Guck, And Globs: The Materiality Of Paint, Beaverbrook Art Gallery, (NB); Excavations, Varley Gallery, Museum Markham, (2013), Important Canadian Art, Sotheby’s, Canada, (2008); The Private Eye, McMichael Canadian Art Collection, Kleinberg, Canada (2006). His work has been acquired by corporate collections as well as museums including McIntosh Gallery, University of Western Ontario (2014); Varley Gallery, ON Canada (2013); and Art Gallery of Nova Scotia,(2012).
