Inspired by the history and traditions of abstract painting, textile crafts and digital art, Mark Stebbins uses painting and drawing to explore links between technology, memory and artistic labour. His work has been exhibited across Canada and internationally. A large solo exhibition, Supersampler, is currently on view at Museum London (2025); recent solo shows include Gathered Threads (2022) and Oblivion Souvenirs (2019) at Galerie Simon Blais, Montreal. Recent group exhibitions include Seoul, South Korea (2023), London, UK (2022) and Beijing, China (2022). Awards include Honourable Mention in the RBC Canadian Painting Competition (2010) and grants by the Canada Council for the Arts and the Ontario Arts Council. His works are included in the collections of the Canada Council Art Bank, London Arts Council, Halifax Regional Municipality and the Royal Bank of Canada, as well as private collections across North America and internationally. He holds a BFA from Western University and an LL.B. from Dalhousie University. Stebbins currently resides in London, Ontario, Canada.
